Adam and I flew out to San Diego to visit Nana and Papa Abbate. Though the plane ride was tough, we had an awesome time there. There is so much to do there, and its so beautiful. No wonder everyone wants to live there! One of my favorite places was a little beach town called del Mar. The kiddie parks had a waterfront view! We went to the beach, saw some seals, went hiking and wine tasting, and walked around the zoo. Adam has really gotten the hang of crawling, and he's wanting to stand and walk as much as possible (with help). Every monring, Adam and Nana would sit on the couch and look out the window for cars, trucks and dogs. Who knew that could be so much fun? We spent 10 fun-filled days there, and though its nice to be back home with Steve, we sure do miss Nana and Papa!

San Diego is my birthplace, where I started kindergarten, and where my dad was stationed (on and off) for about 10 years. San Diego has a special place in our hearts! I'm glad you all had such a great time there. It's a beautiful place, and the weather can't get any better.... if only it weren't so darn expensive to live there. ;+]
I didn't know that's where you were from! I wouldnt' mind getting stationed there.
